By law, at least every two years NOPEC is required to send materials to all NOPEC community customers that give them the choice to remain in the electricity program, join the program, or opt-out of the program without penalty.

Many NOPEC customers have already chosen to take advantage of the opportunity to purchase electricity from First Energy Solutions. If you’re not enrolled already, this is your chance to get in on the savings.

All eligible customers in member communities are automatically included in the program unless you opt out by returning the card enclosed in the packet postmarked by the date on the card. If you wish to remain in the program, or if you wish to join, you do not need to do anything. However, if you opted out in the first two years of the program, or if you were previously served but cancelled your service, you will be included in the savings program unless you chose to opt out again.
